Smart Class Rooms

The classrooms of the Institute are spacious, airy, ventilated, and well furnished. Special attention is paid to each and every student. The classrooms create healthy atmosphere for the students.

Lecture rooms are well lit to facilitate the teaching-learning process.

Computer Labs

The Computer labs are well equipped with latest Hardware and Software. It provides all the possible facilities for the students to make World Wide Change in Information Technology. Computer labs are connected with a high speed LAN. Wi-Fi in the institute allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus.

Library

The Library plays a vital role in providing and nurturing young minds. It aids in learning and teaching activities. The aim of library is to serve the needs of students. The library is a source of knowledge and wisdom.

The library has a vast collection of books. Besides, there are several national and international journals, periodicals, project reports, case studies, educational CDs, videos etc. A regular and constant approach is maintained towards enrichment of collection of books from time to time.

Hotel Management Labs

Department has ultra-modern training infrastructure to facilitate world class education. Institute offers a wide range of facilities in order to make sure that students are not facing any kind of problem while studying. Auditorium

At HIT’s learning is not restricted just to classroom. It is also internalized in the institute’s elegant auditorium, through various co-curricular activities, that form the core of student life. It’s on this dais that the latent talent of the students bloom by way of developing sense of competitiveness, team spirit, leadership & creativity.

The state-of-the art auditorium is equipped with sophisticated modern equipments. It provides the right environment for holding seminars, workshops, panel discussions and guest lectures.

Cafeteria and Mess

This is a place to rejuvenate the tired spirits through lip smacking delicacies. The cafeteria provides much needed appetizer breaks in a cozy atmosphere. Healthy and hygienic meals are available in the institute cafeteria. The cafeteria services are available round the clock at highly reasonable prices with smile.

In order to satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day's hard work, the institute campus is provided with a relaxing and comfortable cafeteria.

Sports

With the belief "A Healthy mind in a healthy body", HIT forays into sports arena. All facilities are available for sports. There is a Sports Department, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities of all the Institutes in our educational campus. HIT has excellent recreational facilities for sports including Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket and Hockey. The College participates in most of the games, sports and tournaments conducted by the University and have participated in many tournaments inside and outside Dehradun and have won many prizes. The students are guided by a Professional coaches.

Hostel

The Institute provides separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel and mess facilities provide comfortable stay and hygienic food to the hostellers. The hostels are located in the close vicinity of the institute.

A home away from home is the concept of hostels in HIT. Separate hostels are provided for both boys and girls. Clean and airy, the rooms offer beds, wardrobes and study tables and chairs. A well maintained, hygienic Mess facility is available. HIT provides students with a comfortable environment to live in. However, students are also free to make their own arrangement they desire.

Transport Facility

HIT provides Transportation facilities for Students to various main locations of the City. The college has its own fleet of buses and vans that ply to and from various vantage points in the city. It is to facilitate easy travel for the students residing outside the college campus. The buses travel through the city and suburbs; routes are planned properly to be punctual and convenient for students. The students intending to avail the transport facility need to inform the officer at the time of admission.

Medical Facility

The Institute provides medical facility to all its students. For providing comprehensive health care to all students and staff in a friendly and comfortable environment. HIT has tie ups with the Hospitals of Dehradun for consultations, treatment & emergencies.
